About BRI

The LCDEF‘s premiere BoardReady Institute (BRI) is two-day in-person programming uniquely designed for new and aspiring directors to prepare, position, and network for boardroom success. Since 2017, the BRI has certified hundreds of board leaders. Offered twice a year with two concurrent tracks - BRI Core and BRINext. BRI is exclusive to LCDA Members and select partners.

The BRI curriculum was originally developed in collaboration with the KPMG Board Leadership Center, the Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford Law School, Boardspan, and LCDA‘s search firm strategic partners - Egon Zehnder, Heidrick & Struggles, Diversified Search - to assist candidates on their journey to and in the boardroom. Since then, our list of curriculum partners has grown to include UC Law San Francisco, Equilar, Diligent, Spencer Stuart, Goldman Sachs, Carlyle, AboveBoard, and many others.

The BRI Playbook includes:

• Board-level coaching to guide executives along their board journey.
• Networking with seasoned Latino directors and other boardroom influencers.
